Brainstorming for a Financial/Regulatory Data Dictionary as European Open Data

This brainstorming is mainly based in the concepts formulated at 11:40 speech about Financial Data Standardisation: European Commission initiative for a Core Supervisory Vocabulary on Financial Data across 50+ Regulatory Frameworks. How to implement it as  European Open Data? How to embrace Regulatory discretions and National translations? How to maintain the Dictionary updated and well governed? Lessons learned in ERICA WG of European Central Balance-sheets Offices (CBSO) or the European Single Electronic Format of ESMA  will illustrate the implementations challenges. A potential approach is using the power of the Data Point Modelling, potentially in combination with the Semantic Web. A seminal initiative has been the CEN/WS XBRL harmonisation project, hence creating the underlying basis of this European standardisation. To be continued?
