CEO @ XBRL International
John Turner has been the CEO of XBRL International for the last 2 years, but has been involved with the standard almost from its inception.
He comes to the role with a unique set of perspectives.
· From Sydney he’s run data collection and data collection re-engineering from within APRA, the Australian financial regulator.
· From London and the US he led a multidisciplinary team at KPMG International that worked on the XBRL standard and with regulators around the world on regulatory data collections.
· From Oxford, he cofounded and was for 6 years the CEO of CoreFiling, one of the leading global XBRL software players, and
more recently he’s worked with a variety of data-led startups operating internationally.
